Elisabeth Ramfjord is educated at BI Norwegian Business School, NMH, Wolff School of Design and Oslo National Academy of the Arts (SKHS), and has previously worked with film, decoration and projectmanagement. Her education and experience within different areas of visual expression has given Ramfjord a solid platform, both as an artist and Gallerist. She has been represented in Gallery Ramfjord since its inception in 1998, and is purchased by clients including the Ministry of Justice, Kværner, NTB and Fearnley Founds.
She has taken part in a number of group exhibitions in Scandinavia, including Aalesund Art Centre, Bærum Art Centre, Hole Art Center, Halden Art Centre, Gallery Nobel and Expo 2002 in Århus, Denmark. Her latest solo exhibitions were in Aalesund Art Centre and at Gallery Osebro in Porsgrunn.

“Elisabeth utilizes structures in her paintings, and makes different facets of light create dynamic movement on wood, in the meeting of organic shapes and printed patterns. Elisabeth uses trowel and lace to create color schemes and tensions within the picture space.”
